Aviva Senior Living welcomes CDO

Aviva Senior Living announced it has brought Suzanne Hudson-Smith on as its chief development officer.

Hudson-Smith brings over 20 years of fundraising experience to the position, most recently serving as development director at Parkinson Place, Inc. and director of leadership and legacy giving at the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation.

“As we begin our fourth decade of serving seniors in our community, Suzanne’s seasoned background and certification in fundraising will be a tremendous asset to the Aviva family,” Aviva CEO Jay Solomon said in the release.

Sodalis Senior Living names CFO

Mike McClain has been named the chief financial officer at Sodalis Senior Living.

McClain comes to the position from an investment and consulting company, according to a press release.

McClain has been involved in a variety of industries throughout his accounting career, which began in the 1990s. The release states he has worked in technology, financial institutions, manufacturing/distribution, healthcare, trucking, collection agencies, restaurant franchisors and operators, employee benefit plans and non-profit organizations.

Bridge Senior Living appoints memory care program leader

Bridge Senior Living has announced the appointment of Jules Johanson-Jones as its national director of life engagement and memory care.

Johanson-Jones is responsible for overseeing the organization’s Lilac Trace program with a focus on providing “support, inspiration and training” for the memory care program.

She brings over 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a combined background in several aspects of senior care, including resident programming, memory care design, program development, operations and business development, according to a press release.

Morning Pointe at Happy Valley names executive director

Morning Pointe at Happy Valley has named Alisha Landes as its new executive director.

In her role, Landes will oversee the daily operations of the assisted living and memory care community, along with fostering relationships and experiences with residents and their families.

According to a press release, Landes has more than 25 years of experience in the senior living industry and has worked for the company before as a regional nurse and an executive director. She also helped open The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga.

Covenant Living of Florida welcomes executive director

Covenant Living of Florida announced it has welcomed Karen Harris as its newest executive director.

According to an announcement, Harris brings over 25 years of experience to the position, including senior living environments and hospital operations to the position.

The announcement of Harris’ new position was made April 18.
