At Sagora Senior Living we are constantly creating new experiences to engage our residents and find exciting ways to showcase our amazing communities and how we truly embrace each moment we create together! If you remember, this past winter we embarked on the Sagora Silver Bachelor and Bachelorette contests. We found our winners, but our Bachelorette didn’t get to enjoy her prize winnings until now! So we wanted to provide a little recap on the contest and showcase the fun she had and a note from her!
In honor of The Bachelor’s first senior bachelor, the ‘Golden Bachelor’, Sagora went on the hunt for our own Sagora Silver Bachelor, and we announced last October that Frank Y. of Ansel Park Independent Living in Rocklin, CA won the title of the Sagora Silver Bachelor! Of course, you can’t have a Silver Bachelor without a Silver Bachelorette!
The beautiful and sweet Dorothy R. of Bristol Park at Eagle Mountain in Fort Worth, TX won the title of the Sagora Silver Bachelorette! True to Dorothy’s character she was humbled and honored to win and was very thankful for all who voted for her. In addition to receiving bragging rights as the Sagora Silver Bachelorette, Dorothy won a beautiful bouquet of red roses (which is only fitting to stay true to the show “The Bachelor”), dinner for two out on the town, chocolates, and two tickets to a movie of her choice.
Dorothy waited a little while to enjoy her prize winnings as she wanted to take a special friend out on the town, and she finally got to do that this week! Dorothy loved her bouquet of red roses and chocolates. She decided for her dinner that she wanted to take her friend of 35+ years, Barbara, out to eat at Cheddars. After a fabulous dinner, these young bachelorettes went and saw Unsung Hero. Dorothy said it was one of the best Christian movies she has ever seen!
Dorothy was so touched by winning the Sagora Silver Bachelorette and truly enjoyed her night out on the town. She wrote us a note to share with our greater community.
