Invesque, Inc. announces c-suite changes

Invesque, Inc., announced changes to its c-suite and board of directors following the resignation of CEO Scott White that will take effect May 10.

White will still serve as the chairman of the board of directors and remain within Invesque, Inc. as an advisor.

According to a press release, Adlai Chester, the current CFO and executive vice president of investments, will assume the CEO role. Chester has been with the company since 2017 and has more than 20 years of finance, real estate, investment, development and capital markets experience, according to a press release.

Quinn Haselhort, the current senior vice president of finance, will be taking on the role of CFO. Haselhort has been with the company since its formation in 2015 and brings 15 years of accounting and finance experience, the majority of which has been spent in the healthcare real estate industry, to the position, the release states.

The Arbor Company president elected Argentum board chair

Senior living advocate Argentum announced on May 1 that Judd Harper, president of The Arbor Company, was elected to serve as the chair of the board of directors.

Harper previously served as the board’s vice-chair.

Harper has been with The Arbor Company for 27 years and currently serves as the chief operating officer, where he oversees all aspects of the company’s operations across 50 communities.

According to a press release, additional named officers to the board were Tana Gall, president of Merrill Gardens as vice-chair; Gary Smith president of Vi as treasurer; Mercedes Kerr, president of Belmont Village Senior Living as secretary; Chris Hyatt, co-CEO of New Perspective as public policy chair and Joel Nelson, CEO of LCS as immediate past chair.

Spring Arbor promotes SVP of midwest operations

Spring Arbor Senior Living announced on May 1 that Susan Durr has been promoted to senior vice president of divisional operations for its midwestern region.

In her new role, Durr oversees 13 communities across five states, based in Spring Arbor’s newest corporate location in Springfield, Missouri, according to a press release.

Durr has been involved in the senior living industry since 2020, where she previously worked with a “well known management company and operator of 23 senior living locations” in the Midwest.

Bellara Senior Living names executive director

Bellara Senior Living, a new senior living community in San Francisco, announced Jeff Sumabat as its executive director.

In his role, Sumabat will oversee the daily operations of the community and coordinate with regional and national leadership, according to a press release.

Sumabat has held several roles within the senior living industry, including resident services director, memory care director and executive director. Most recently, he served as a regional operations specialist, the release states.
